Repurposing & Weaving: A Perfect Pair

Weaving and repurposing are like peanut butter & jelly! They naturally fit together to create something new and wonderful - while simultaneously helping save the planet! What more could you want?

In this special class, we'll explore the following:

• why a loom is the perfect vehicle for transforming old clothing and accessories into something new and wonderful
• what items can and can't be repurposed in your weaving project
• suggested techniques for preparing and utilizing repurposed items
• special considerations for your repurposed project

Chris Acton, with Acton Creative, will be teaching this unique class from the perspective of a multi-shaft loom weaver. But, the concepts and techniques can be applied to any weaver working on any loom (frame, rigid heddle, table, floor, 4-shaft, 8-shaft, etc.). 

Class is $49. All registrants will receive access to the event recording afterwards, as well as 2 helpful downloadable aids - the Idea Sheet, and the Repurpose Formula. They will be forwarded to you prior to the start of the class.
